A little background…
Halcyon Performance was founded in 2015 by Gwenaël Picaut, an engineer driven by a passion for innovation. Early on, he recognized the potential of honeycomb structures to meet the challenges of demanding sectors such as aeronautics, space, and mobility. His ambition was clear: to develop solutions that combined lightness, mechanical performance, and reliability.
The first facility, in Noyal-Châtillon-sur-Seiche, marked the starting point. It was there that the first pilot projects and productions were launched, enabling the company to validate its expertise, forge solid partnerships, and demonstrate the relevance of the technology.
In 2020, to support its growth and move closer to its industrial partners, Halcyon moved to Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande. This new location represents a turning point: an environment conducive to innovation, industrialization, and the deployment of large-scale projects.
Today, Halcyon is capitalizing on this experience to strengthen its position as a trusted partner and is committed to supporting its customers in the innovations of tomorrow.
